Silent Pool Rare Citrus Gin is Made only with fresh or dried ingredients, this gin has a strong foundation of juniper, coriander, and angelica, with undertones of liquorice and cassia. The tropical and peppery notes are amplified by the addition of cardamom, cubeb, and Timur pepper, which provides a fruity and spicy grapefruit taste. Silent Pool Rare Citrus Gin gin is bright, zesty, and delicately spiced, with a subtle sweetness and an enticingly rich flavour, thanks to the use of the rarest citrus in the world.

The inspiration for this gin comes from the Silent Pool, a historic spring located in the Surrey Hills, known for its crystal-clear water from a chalk aquifer. The beauty of the Silent Pool is reflected in the bottle design and the flavour of the gin.

In 2014, Ian McCulloch and James Shelbourne founded Silent Pool Distillery after discussing the idea in a pub. Inspired by Scottish whisky distilleries, they aimed to create a sustainable distillery using locally sourced ingredients near a fresh water source. After searching for the perfect location, they found Sherbourne Farm on the banks of the Silent Pool in the Surrey Hills and received approval from the landowner to restore the farm into a distillery.

All of their products are handcrafted with multi-layered and complex flavours, achieved through a unique four-stage distillation process. The flavours are balanced through experimentation with different ingredient combinations, resulting in products that share the same DNA and evolve as they are tasted.

This product is handled & shipped by My Drinks Club, which means it is delivered by our partner supplier EVRI.

Shipping costs vary by product weight and quantities purchased, which is calculated more accurately at the point of check out. Currently My Drinks Club only offers standard shipping which takes 3-5 working days.
