The name "Kurayoshi" is derived from the phrase "life is good", reflecting the town's tranquil and serene atmosphere. The annual temperature range on the Sea of Japan side is significant, which accelerates the aging of whisky compared to other regions such as Islay Island. The unique characteristics of the region and the barrel contribute to the creation of Kurayoshi's exceptional whisky. Despite having a small number of staff and a modest distillery, every member is dedicated to producing the best whisky possible.
